celebrated our long awaited launch We are a family run business based in Ashford Kent. We manufacture, design and source all aspects of the
DJS Tackle range.
Our aim was and still is to apply our experience and become a well known and
trusted manufacturer within the marketplace.
DJS Tackle is
a mail order only company, our mission is to lead the way in DIRECT prices and
to cater for every level of angling. We can achieve this as we only sell
DIRECT to you the Customer missing out the middleman, with keeps our prices at a
low level without compromising on quality or style. You will not find us
in any other store.
We
supply specialist fishing tackle within the United Kingdom and other countries with an excellent after sales service. Mail order does not mean we cannot give a personal service to you and all our customers!...as we endeavor to meet your requirements and reply to emails within 24 hours and more often than not the same day!...

A little on our history so far and
new things to come.....
2009 saw our launch but DJS Tackle had been a long time in the making, it
took about 3 years to develop the website and the design of the primary range. We wanted to build a brand that we could be proud of, providing quality tackle based on superb craftsmanship and value. Our ethos
was and still is that to be able to survive in this competitive market our range
needed to be competitively priced and continually evolving, we also believe in
providing a high level of customer service.
This year will see the unveiling of
the 2010 portfolio. We have put together a new range of exciting products
and added improvements to some our our existing range, utilizing the highest
quality of materials and fixings available; producing time, cost and space
effective products.
We have also made extensive
improvements on our website, firstly we moved our site to a new server as our
existing one just couldn't cope with the visit rates. We have added a new
cart and registration options. The introduction of a stepped level of
postage rates has already provided to be popular.
We have also introduced our new
Video page; this will enable you to see product demonstrations before you buy.
We are in the process of filming now; however, if there is something you would
like to see and it is not done yet - just let us know and we will endeavour to
get this done for you.
Here is a sneak peak into the new 2010 DJS
developments.
Luggage:
DJS Luggage will be available later this year. We have
concentrated on quality without compromise - again at an affordable price!. The
fabric is a two tone cross weave modern material, with fantastic colouration.
This fabric is fully waterproof and really easy to clean. The Zips are first
class and all fittings are made of durable and strong materials. Items within
the range will include Holdalls, Rod Bags, Rucksacks, Buzz Bar Cases, Rig
Wallets, bait bins and more.
Bedchairs & Sleeping Bags:
2010 will see the launch of an extended range of Chuba Bed
chairs and Sleeping Bags, utilising new fixings and fittings and revolutionary
materials.
Bivvies and Shelters:
We will be launching a new range of Bivvies and Shelters for
the 2010 season. We have listened to what our customers have said and will be
introducing an improved version of the Z-1 Bivvy.

The Z-1 is a canopy bivvy and the MKII is based on the future
of all DJS bivvies and shelters. Which is quality and specification of materials
maximising on total performance.
These are a great package that should cost more than twice
the price!
Rod Pods:
We will be launching a new
range of stainless steel products
There are two pods available in the new
Idleback range.
As the name suggests the focus is on the more effective and efficient use of
space time and labour.
The range certainly looks the part The pods are compact,
durable, strong, and stable. The stainless is a chunky 16mm diameter tube with
the solid sections coming in at an impressive 20mm all this and affordable too!
Bison Y - It’s your space…
think about it!
The team have come up trumps with this compact sturdy and
affordable pod.
Right from the start the focus was on the “more effective
and efficient use of space, time and labour to help Anglers maximize the use of
their swim especially when in snaggy areas
We have achieved this by minimising the complexity of the
pods back end from a standard goalpost to a single post design, which also
incorporates a bank stick stabilizer maintaining a solid set up.
With this unique style working on the bank is much smarter
as you have a lot more foot room which makes it easier to get in close - A
necessity when making that all important strike – This Pod really excels at
night as it reduces your chances of kicking the whole set up. Also ideal for
the Angler who sets their reel clutch to the MAX!
The front is worked in a standard goalpost design which can
rest on top of the ground or be pushed in for an even sturdy set up.
The Bison Y is manufactured from high grade stainless steel.
The main Y Bars are adjustable in length to accommodate any rod length and are
fully riveted to the centre adjustment plate. Each domed screw tightens the
main bar attached to it enabling a more precise and sturdy set up. The Bison Y
also opens up to take any width of buzzer bar and comes complete with bag and
when packed away folds down to only 14”.
Also in the range will be the
Bison X.

the same concept as the Bison Y but slightly wider with double goalposts at
front and back

Accessories:
Also on offer for 2010 are our range of Sabre and Sabre T
Hooks, with a more advanced rig set up planned for later in the year. Alongside
this we will also be introducing a range of leads that really look the part.
Alarms:
In 2009 we offered the D1-R wireless alarms. These proved to
be one of our most popular budget accessories.
For 2010 we have decided to introduce the
SSV7’s
which are a far superior package to the D1R’s and other makes!
Why are they named
SSV7?
Simple : SOUND, SILENT, VIBRATE, 7 changeable LED Colours.
These alarms will have a continuous sound when you have a
run and will match exactly to the receiver.
These will be available in one handset and 3 alarm
combination which can be added to.
These are slim line and sleek, the front is clear of buttons
or dials, with button detailing on the side, they have a built in night light
and the receiver will fit in your top pocket with no external Ariel.
These alarms use a patented rolling code system so you will
not encounter any frequency interference on the bank.
These really are an amazing bit of kit
Fly Fishing:
If it’s fly-fishing that you are into we are increasing our
range three-fold.
2010 is going to be a really exciting time for us and watch
this space as this year could see the opening of our first flagship store! The
decision to open our first show room will ensure our commitment in providing
customers with a first class service. The business is developing at an
unprecedented rate and by having a local presence we can better serve the needs
of our clients.
